6.6.11 Last Saturday after a whooping day at the wedding. Dale, Sasi, Pits and Nerdy lounge on Starmart Banilad which is owned by a friend Dean Bernal. Swigs and some lemonade makes a good conversation starter, but hey not until one guy went inside and brought a Hany chocolate just recently bought and to my excitement i bought my own and ate it until the last bar! oohh so miss it!

Pink Glam in Ayala

PINK GLAM FOR KIDS AT THE AYALA CENTER CEBU Little ones take center stage this month as Ayala Center Cebu and Think Pink Campaign bring you Pink Glam for Kids, an event for a cause on October 14. Show your kids the value of giving, as a minimum donation of P50 goes a long way for kids with cancer. The donation also entitles your child to a pink wristband for access to freebies and fun activities. Starting 1pm on October 14 at the Activity Center, kids can glam up and enjoy salon makeovers, arts and crafts, and receive goodies from merchants. Registration for the Pink Glam for Kids is ongoing until October 14, Sunday. The proceeds of the event goes to Kythe Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit organization that specializes in providing psychosocial support for young children suffering from cancer and other chronic illnesses. Pardon the cliche, but it's one of the holiest of Holy Grails of technology: Wireless power. And while early lab experiments have been able to "beam" electricity a few feet to power a light bulb, the day when our laptops and cell phones can charge without having to plug them in to a wall socket still seems decades in the future. Nokia, however, has taken another baby step in that direction with the invention of a cell phone that recharges itself using a unique system: It harvests ambient radio waves from the air, and turns that energy into usable power. Enough, at least, to keep a cell phone from running out of juice.
